INFilter for stated indoor access
A general dog-friendly label can mean outdoor seating only. Use the indoor-access filter to find listings where inside access is specifically mentioned, then call ahead if staying dry is essential.

Torquay's Dinosaur World is completely indoors and allows dogs on leads. Bygones and the Real Crime Museum also welcome dogs, while Paignton Pier offers covered amusements. In Brixham, the Heritage Museum welcomes dogs and the Golden Hind has two inside decks for small, well-behaved dogs.
Check opening times carefully: Brixham's volunteer-run museums have limited days, and the Golden Hind has steep stairs, low headroom and a small-dog restriction.Browse indoor attractions↗OUTKeep the outdoor part short
A harbour or promenade out-and-back is easier to shorten than an exposed coast-path route. Cockington’s main paths and the level section of Babbacombe Downs can also work between showers.
Avoid cliff paths, steep steps and muddy natural ground when rain, wind or visibility make them unsafe.Compare local walks↗DRYBuild a calm drying-off stop
Carry a towel, water, waste bags and something dry for the car or accommodation. Choose a quieter dog-friendly café or pub and ask where a wet dog can sit comfortably.
